God bless Clint Eastwood. At 91 years of age, the screen legend is still going strong with his latest movie, Cry Macho, seeing Eastwood once again on horseback in a modern-day western in which his character, a washed up rodeo star, rides across the border into Mexico to help a young man named Rafael (Eduardo Miffat) reunite with his gringo father (Dwight Yoakham). A terrific trailer promises a melancholy western drama as only Eastwood can do, no doubt adding to the Oscar winner’s stacked legacy.
Cry Macho releases in US cinemas and streaming on HBO Max on September 17th, and in Australian cinemas November 25th.
