Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kerry Washington and Anthony LaPaglia have joined Quentin Tarantino’s spaghetti western Django Unchained.

The film follows a slave-turned-bounty hunter (Jaime Foxx) on a mission to rescue his wife from her sadistic slave master (Leonardo Di Caprio).

Washington will play the role of the wife Broomhilda, who drives the plot of the film.

Meanhwhile, Joseph Gordon-Levitt ad Anthony LaPaglia will play Australian brothers and slave traders, who encounter Django during his travels.

Christoph Waltz, Kurt Russell and Samuel L. Jackson also star.

Production will begin on Django Unchained in November, with a current release of December 25, 2012in the books.
