Colin Farrell & Noomi Rapace will star in the mob thriller Dead Man Down.

The film will focus on a mob hitman (Farrell) who falls in love with a disfigured beauty queen (Rapace). Together they go on a violent killing spree.

Niels Arden Oplec (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) will direct a script by J.H. Wyman.

Filming is expected to begin early next year.
