Oscar Isaac has landed the lead role in the latest Coen brother’s movie Inside Llewyn Davis.

The film will focus on the early folk music scene in Greenwich Village in the 60s.

The in demand Isaac has recently starred in Drive, Robin Hood and Sucker Punch.

No word on what role Isaac will play, however it is expected that the character will be loosely based on folk singers like Dave Van Ronk and Tom Paxton.

Joel and Ethan Coen will direcet their own script.
