Arnold Schwarzenegger will star in the action thriller Captive.

Schwarzenegger will play an American real estate magnate living in Brazil who is kidnapped and held for ransom.  As he frantically searches for a way out, a detective specializing in kidnap and ransom cases works to find him.

No director has yet been confirmed for Captive, which is written by Benjamin van der Veen and Kario Salem, based on a story by Nicolai Fuglsig.

This will be Schwarzenegger’s third post-politics role, with roles confirmed in Last Stand and The Expendables 2.
